Mary Jo is a board certified advanced practice nurse, a registered nurse with a master's degree who is trained to diagnose and treat chronic and acute illnesses. A native of South Bend, Mary Jo graduated from St. Mary's College with degrees in biology and nursing. She worked as a cardiac nurse for 6 years while completing her master's degree in nursing at IU. Mary Jo sees patients in the office and supervises exercise stress tests. She is also qualified to write prescriptions and interpret laboratory and other test results.
