Dr. Katsaropoulos was born and raised in Indianapolis IN and earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University, Bloomington IN. He attended Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis and did his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Methodist Hospital and I.U. Medical Center in Indianapolis. His interventional cardiology fellowship was at Baystate Medical Center in Boston MA which is affiliated with Tufts University School of Medicine.

Dr. Katsaropoulos is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and Society of Cardiac Angiography and Intervention.
